Blueseventy Wetsuits and Triathlon Apparel Have Arrived!
Since 1993 Blueseventy has been designing wetsuits and swimskins that helps you blow your competition out of the water. The products they make have value that far exceeds the price tag. We’re pleased to offer yet another brand that is at the top of its class. Here’s a little about them.
Ethos
Since 1993, we’ve designed, tested, refined and crafted wetsuits and swimskins that transcend the confines of what is possible.
In the process, we’ve carried world-class athletes to victory and instilled confidence in beginners.
We swim. We compete. We obsess – poring over details that others have and will continue to miss; revolutionary details that equate to comfort, freedom from restriction and competitive advantage.
We make products that empower swimmers to achieve their personal bests.
We are swimming.
We are blueseventy.
Design Philosophy
Our design philosophy is simple – to create products that help swimmers reach their full potential. During our development process we obsess over stroke rates, collar heights, upper body restrictions, centre of buoyancy, and countless other things that help create the delicate balance between fit, material and design. Our testing includes world champion swim specialists, novice swimmers and those standing next to you at the start line. Their feedback is crucial in helping us create the best products on the market.
We design, create, test and collect data from countless hours of swimming and if it doesn’t meet our standards it goes back to the design room and the process starts again. This attention to detail, paired with our passion for swimming is why people who want the very best out of their swimming choose blueseventy.
Femme Fit
It stands for all the features we have added to our women’s wetsuits: a suit that gives women of all shapes, sizes and skill levels what they want most in the water. This hasn’t happened overnight; in fact when the first suits featuring Femme fit came out over 3 years ago, it was the result of extensive testing, feedback and actually listening to what you had to say.
As a result our designs have become the wetsuit of choice for women. However, there was room to improve. We starting by observing how women swim and examined their anatomical characteristics. We noted shorter torso lengths, smaller muscle mass, higher swim cadences, and narrower waists paired with wider hips. The results are the following features, which are part of every women’s blue seventy wetsuit.
- Lowered neckline for better fit and comfort
- Extended zipper length to accommodate wider hips and ease getting in and out of your suit
- Slimmer, 1.5 mm thick arms to allow for higher stroke cadence
- Narrowed neck, wrists and ankles for a customized fit in critical areas
- Refined shaping in the bust and torso
- Seven size variations ranging from XS to XLA
It all adds up to a wetsuit with superior fit, which leads to better performance and a better open water experience. We continue to seek and learn and create our products based on the feedback, not just from Ironman winners, but from any woman that enters the water.
