Join us for a slow-paced and instructional ride designed to introduce new riders to the fun of mountain biking. The ride itself tours mostly fire roads (we’re teaching you already, fire roads are wide dirt roads). Along the five mile route are also small sections of “singletrack” (narrow and fast sections of trail), rocks, roots and sand to test your skills and build your confidence. None of these obstacles are overwhelming and the ride is designed to teach basic skills and to have fun. There is absolutely no tolerance for “dropping” the group or pushing riders to a speed beyond their ability or confidence. Depending on the riders attending, more challenging trails are available for those up for it.
